Solar thermal water heating

Solar panels installed on the Gundersen Onalaska Renal Dialysis Center are part of a solar thermal water heating system. The renewable energy source helps heat water for use in the building. The system produces approximately 50 percent or more of the total annual hot water consumed in the building. The solar thermal water heating system will help extend the life of the current hot water heater equipment as well as reduce energy consumption.
