Cashton wind energy project

Gundersen Health System and Organic Valley collaborated on a two-turbine wind farm near Cashton, Wis. The electricity is fed into the energy grid and used by homes and businesses. Gundersen and Organic Valley are paid for the energy generated. The wind farm is generating nearly 5 megawatts of energy, enough electricity to power approximately 1,200 homes a year.
